What visits do we offer?
Education -Schools & Pre-schools
We are Members of LEAF Education and can set up at schools and pre-schools and provide information on the daily care of the animals and their needs. We can also cover curriculum related topics. We encourage safe and gentle handling of the animals at all times which can help gain confidence as well as being fun for children.
Therapy
Handling and learning about animals is a great way to relax and unwind. Arrange a visit - just let us know which animals you would like us to bring!
Care Home Visits & Retirement Homes
Let us bring the animals to you for everyone to enjoy. See and stroke the animals, we are happy to talk to you about them as well :)
Pony and Donkey - Meet and Greets
Pony or Donkey Meet and Greets available. These are 45 minutes long, Choose either to meet Chaz our miniature pony or Max our miniature donkey! Visit includes meeting Chaz or Max, grooming, petting and you can take your own photos to remember your special visit. Chaz also has a box of bows to decorate his mane if you wish! A great birthday surprise for someone, or really for any occasion - why not?! All ages welcome :)
Please note there is no riding.
Weddings - Ring bearers/Drinks Receptions
Love animals?! Then why not have Chaz our Miniature Shetland Pony or Max our Miniature Donkey as your ring bearer! Sure to entertain your guests or as a surprise for your bride or groom. Just let us know if you have a colour scheme or theme and Max or Chaz can wear co-ordinated accessories - please enquire and we will see what we can do for you! Alternatively why not have our mobile farm to entertain your guests at the drinks reception.
Baby Gender Reveal Parties
Want a fun way to reveal the gender of your baby then this could be it! Chaz our miniature shetland pony or Max our miniature donkey can reveal it for you and make a special guest appearance wearing blue or pink - please contact us to discuss your requirements!
Fun Days / Fetes / Open Days
Having a fete, open day or fun day and looking for some family friendly entertainment then Popell Barns Mobile Farm could be just what you need! We can set up and guests can see the animals learning as much or as little about them as they like. Great for all ages.
Nativity
Why not have our miniature donkey visit as part of your nativity! We can also bring sheep, chickens or if you have any special requirements/ specific animals that you would like to attend please let us know and we will be happy to help! We also have a nativity trailer that can do local visits. Please enquire to find out more!
Smaller Animal Encounters
We can also provide smaller animal encounters and can bring guinea pigs, rabbits and chickens if you would like something smaller. Perfect for colder weather also as the animals pens can be set up indoors.
