Holly visited my Pre-School today with the animals. The children absolutely loved seeing and stroking the animals. Holly is very patient and kind and spent a lot of time showing the children the different animals. The children haven't stopped talking about the animals and asking questions. Thank you to Holly and all the amazing animals at Popell Barns Farm! Our children had a wonderful time visiting and learned how to care for animals including practising how to milk a cow! The animals were so gentle and patient giving all the children the opportunity to stroke them and learn how to care for them. Holly arrived in plenty of time, talking through plans for the morning and being flexible with each class including in the rain! Would definitely recommend and we can't wait for another farmyard visit from Holly and the gang.

We had the mobile farm come along to Busikids Ltd as part of our Christmas celebration week. The staff were friendly, allowed the children to feed the animals and gave out fun facts about each of them. They also encouraged and reassured any children who were slightly nervous. They provided a mobile hand washing station and cleared away after the animals. The children really enjoyed the up close and personal experience. We will definitely be booking again!

Popell Barns Farm visited our school which is a school for children with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. The children loved this special experience. For many, it was the first time they'd seen a pony or a sheep and for all, it was the first time they had groomed a horse. It feels very special that we were able to give our kids this opportunity.

Farmer Holly had a great set up allowing the animals to be safely viewed and petted by the students without it being too busy or overwhelming for them. Students had easy access around the larger pens and then could sit directly in front of the smaller animals. the children had the option of the rabbit and guinea pigs out of their cages so that they could be stroked. Farmer Holly showed the children how to pet them safely and calmly. Each pen had information about the animals so that more able students could have this information shared with them. The animals had water bowls, haybales and bedding/shade so we could share with the students how we care for the animals. A great set up just right for our students that afforded them opportunities that they might not have otherwise. Farmer Holly was quick to set up and pack up and was patient with the students and how they responded to the animals.
Special Educational Needs School
The booking process was smooth, and Holly was able to answer all the questions that I had. Holly was flexible with arrangements and took in to consideration circumstances outside of the school's control when I asked to move our session. Holly provided all the relevant documentation needed for health and safety purposes. On the day Holly arrived promptly at the agreed time. She checked her set up with the leading adult at school to ensure it was best set up for the children to get the most out of it. Holly (and all the animals!) were brilliant with the children and gave them the time they needed to explore. Holly was very flexible when other members of the school were intrigued by the visitors and asked to join in! Our children loved this experience and were able to go home and communicate about it to their families. We have had lots of positive parental feedback about the visit. We look forward to welcoming Popell Barns Mobile Farm again - especially Max the donkey who was a huge hit with staff and pupils!

We booked Popell Barns Mobile Farm to be part of our summer fayre, and they were fantastic! Great communication before the event, working together to make sure we all had what we needed. It was very clear which animals were coming and how the needs of the animals would be met. Everyone at the fayre loved them. Thank you so much for being part of it!

This was the first time we have used Popell Barns Mobile Farm and we were not disappointed. Prior to the visit communication was excellent ensuring everything went smoothly. Farmer Holly set up the animals and the children and adults were eagerly looking through the classroom window! During the session Farmer Holly kept all the children engaged and busy. The children especially enjoyed stroking Max the donkey and feeding the chickens. During the session Holly talked about the animals, their feet, food they ate and asked questions to allow children to think deeper. We are looking forward to booking you again in the future. We booked Popell Barns Farm to come to our festival themed street party today. From the first day I contacted Holly to the day of the party the customer service was great, she gave me all the information I needed and responded quickly to any emails sent. Hiring the farm was a great addition to our party and Chaz the pony even had festival themed hair pieces in for the day. Adults and children loved the animals and I would absolutely recommend Popell Barns Farm to anyone looking to hire a mobile farm.

What a treat! As part of Well Being week we had a visit from Holly and Popell Barns Mobile Farm. The children loved it. Holly visited our Year R children this week and provided a 40 minute session for each class. The children had chance to stroke the animals and learn about feeding and looking after them. Holly answered their many questions and even taught the teachers some new facts! Thank you, the children loved it!

We had Popell Barns Mobile Farm here recently at our school and I would highly recommend them! Holly was here early enough that she was fully set up and ready for the day, she event let all of the children arriving at school look and chatted to them and the parents. Her sessions were great and children really enjoyed them. She made sure they were interactive and children were able to touch and groom the animals if they wanted. She was also really understanding of the children that maybe needed a little more time and were quite worried. I would highly recommend having Holly and Popell Barns Mobile Farm for your events or for educational visits and cant' wait to use her again!

For their recent meeting the Cub Scouts from the 7th Eastleigh Cub Pack and the 13th Eastleigh Sea Scouts - 2nd Bishopstoke were joined by the staff and animals from Popell Barns Mobile Farm with the aim to support them with achieving their Animal Carer Badge. This was such an amazing, interactive and knowledgeable opportunity for the cubs to be involved with - and so unique; with all the cubs enjoying it immensely. Highly recommended! And can be adapted for all Scouting sections and community groups. Special thanks to Holly and the team from the farm for her cooperation and enthusiasm with all aspects of the experience.

I wanted to say a big Thank you for being part of our special celebration at Winchester Cathedral this year. It was a wonderful morning, and it felt so special to have so many children, young people and adults joining us to share in the Christmas story. The cathedral was filled with joy and excitement, and it was fabulous to share that with you and Max the donkey, Max was a great hit with the children (and adults) and was so well behaved.
