Meet the Animals!

Chaz is our amazing Miniature Shetland Pony.  He is so sweet and loving and will stand for ages enjoying being brushed and pampered.  He loves being cuddled and is very affectionate! 

Max is great!  He is kind, caring and loves hugs!  He will nudge you if he wants more cuddles too.  Max loves a gentle brush and will always run to greet us in the mornings which is lovely but he can wake everyone up if he starts braying!  He loves the occasional treat and especially likes apples!

Albert is our very special Coloured Ryeland Sheep who we bred ourselves. He is very funny and loves shoes!  Welly boots or crocs, he doesn’t mind but he will always come over to you in the field to investigate! 

These are some of our ewes.  We have brought these up from little lambs as we took them on as orphans so they are very friendly!  They are now all grown up and have had babies themselves!  They will always come over to you in the field to check if you have any treats in your pockets or enjoy a gentle cuddle. 

Little Nut is Albert and Beanie's Mum.  She is a lovely sheep, very friendly, sweet and loving and a great Mum!  She loves food and is always the first and last sheep at the food trough! 

We have a range of chickens including Bantems, Silkies, Leg Horns, Warrens and Suffolk.  Some of the chickens we hatched ourselves in an incubator and some we have let hatch naturally.  The chickens are great fun to watch, very friendly and inquisitive! 

We currently have  3 turkeys which were hand reared so are very friendly.  They love to sit on their perch or scratch around in their enclosure looking for grains and bugs. 

We have guinea pigs that like to come on visits!  Some of their names are Sydney, Toffee and Barnaby.  They are very cheeky and fluffy!  They enjoy being handled in their little baskets and if you are quiet you will hear them talking to each other! 

Cottontail is very calm and loves to be cuddled.  She is also very fluffy!  She loves to hop about when at home and stomp her feet in her run as she bounces around! 

Toffee-Buttons is perhaps our noisiest sheep!  She loves to baa and bounce around and play with her treat ball.  She is very friendly and inquisitive.  She is best friends with Albert and Cookie and loves playing with the new born lambs! 

This is Popell Beanie!  She is Alberts sister.  Born this year, she is very sweet and playful and will be coming on visits when she is a little older. 

This is Matilda!  She is Dorothy's daughter and was born this spring.  She is very cuddly and loves attention!  Matilda will be coming on visits when she is a little bigger!

Meet Donald our beautiful Running Duck!  He really can run fast! Also Daffy and Dave both Saxony Ducks and are very friendly.  Dave is especially chilled! 

This is Peppa and Pebbles!  They are Greyfaced Dartmoor Sheep which are currently an at risk breed of sheep on the Rare Breeds Survival Trust watchlist so they were very hard to find and we feel extremely lucky to have them!  They are very friendly and have long wool fleeces.
